Why don't you all get the spca over there and educate the people in town hall and residences about certain breeds. Dont you think this would be more productive and better p.r. for you all than making threats. Education is a powerful tool that maybe you all could use. Also, a spay and neuter day a month for 10.00 dollars would be a plus. Threatening to take family pets away from their fur ever homes is just not smart. And Mr Lemoine don't shoo away Oprah. She is a very powerful woman. Don't you think the state and esp. Avoyelles parish could use some nice things said about it? Animal education will do the job, I can guarantee it. Use your brain and get this started. You will be a very respected person.
How could someone ever let this happen!!!! This is an absolute outrage! Animals are living creatures, and it is not a BREED thing. Owners have responsibilities to their animals!! The fact that people who don't hand over their dogs by December 1st are going to have them confiscated and put down?!?! This is absolutely disgusting and I hope this town feels embarrassed for their words and soon to be actions! Breeds are not the ones that are bad! I myself have a Doberman, and he is the absolute sweetest dog who never wants to stop cuddling! I hope this town realizes how big of a mistake they are making!!! Our voices and OUR PETS VOICES WILL BE HEARD!! WE ARE THEIR VOICE PEOPLE! SPEAK UP AGAINST THIS!

For the sake of animal rights and human rights, do not take the innocent, unvocalized dogs away from these owners who are doing everything in their power to speak up for their loving pet. I say if you have no proof that the specific dog has done any harm to the public, you have no right to slaughter the dog. Do not ever assume the whole entire breed of 'pit bulls' are aggressive, rabid species. If it is wrong for people to stereotype other people, why is it legal for the City of Moreauville's government allowed to stereotype an animal species? There are hundreds of thousands of people around the world who feel the same way I do about this ordinance. To the legislators of Moreauville who have created this ordinance, I would like to remind you of kindness and fairness. The human race is the most powerful race on the planet, do not use that power for unjust rulings. Thank you.
